Erin, a concert pianist, hasn’t touched a piano since her husband died. As Elaine, a piano teacher gently reacquaints Erin with her instrument, other life changes follow. A simple update to Erin’s home, for instance, brings the unexpected companionship of a contractor, Tom. Winner of the 2017 Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Original Script this beautiful story pays homage to the healing power of music. With its beautiful writing, simple design, and sophisticated acting, it’s no wonder this play affected people the way it did in its first run says Ashlie Corcoran, Arts Club Theatre’s Artistic Director.
